This was a funny, sweet read about the a long term m/m couple who finally get fed up with the fact that they can't marry. This hits one of the partners (Adam) in particular because he's a wedding planner. Stephen, a writer, goes along for the ride although he's not much of an activist as Adam figures out a way to fight back. The book is written from Stephen's POV and he is an anxiety ridden, insecure kind of guy hopelessly in love and kind of doubting how that ever happened. Stephen's dialogue is hilarious through most of the book. He's of Romanian ancestry and his mother is overbearing but loves her kids. Stephen and Adam have a crew of friends around them all with unique personalities and a couple of cats who also add in their personality.
Overall, this was a very good read for me. For the romance fans out there, this is a pretty clean book - no sex scenes - but still a love story with a great supporting cast.
