Sigh...this was just what I was hoping for in Dusty's story who I loved from the first book. Sweet, adorable love story. We got to see the couple fall in love and work through some tough times. Although I didn't enjoy the angst, it added to the story and I liked that fact that it seemed very realistic. I liked that Asher was still struggling to get his photography business going. They fact he had to shoot for the porn industry was a choice he had to make to make a living. So easy to have everyone in a perfect work world in a romance. He was a young guy struggling to make it on his own and that made me like him all the more. Financial troubles are so often glossed over in romance. Although the credit card bill wasn't Asher's fault, he dealt with it and it added to the story how he struggled to deal with it and the fact that he had to eventually let Dusty help though he struggled with it. Dusty and Ash were so freakin' adorable together and sweet and normal. I appreciated that there was not manufactured miscommunication to make the angst.
It was also so much fun to see Rue and Erik and that they haven't changed their personalities, still struggled with Erik's social anxiety and are still committed and in love. Nice supporting cast although Ash is a better sibling than I could probably ever be with what he went through with his twin.
Overall, this was a wonderful follow up to the first book and I think I liked it just a touch bit more. Really, cute cover, too. I enjoyed the use of the photographs.
